MY DEFINITION OF LOVE
Breathe in, Breathe Out
Feel our hearts breathe in rhythm as
We lie closely, naked in my bed
Her soft sweet smelling hair
Drapes across my shoulder as
My chest becomes her pillow
She pulls me in close
As if i'm to shed her from evil
And as i touch her tender skin
I too am relieved in a sense of comfort
All that matters now is the now and
The now is that she is in my arms
Nothing else matters
Not another care in the world
It's a complex, incomprehensive
Yet magical moment
One that can only be felt
When you are in love |

CRUSH
I saw you last night, your face
Resides like a picture in my mind
I can't seem to shake it
My mind begins to wonder
Trying to process feeling, thoughts, emotions
Trying to make sense of what i saw
The way you stood, your pretty face
The look you gave me, the gleam in your eye
What does it mean and why
Does it make me feel this way
I know i'm not supposed to
But i just can't hide it
Somehow you've gotten to me
Broken me down and all u gave me was
A simple smile, a courtasy gesture, but now
I'm hooked, hoping its a beginning
But i know its the beginning of a hurtful end |

Here is my best one I have, Please feel free to comment. Finally I have found a home, I only hope it inspires me
SOULMATE
Somewhere there she is
I see her in my thoughts
I feel her in my dreams
She is perfect.
Even with the distance in between
She breathes the air i breathe
She feels the way i feel
She is me.
When we finally meet not a word will be spoken
Feelings will be exchanged
Intentions will be told
Yet not a voice heard.
Together our dreams will come true
Together we will be connected as one
Some people settle for less material love
But i will not rest until i find my soulmate. |

But I know that I could show you
A happiness you have never had.
There's still that place inside me reserved for you.
If it was all that simple then I could forget,
Forget the love, the light, the hope, and the promise
In your eyes.
It's not that simple to me...
Simply because you mean too much to me... |

I know the pain I caused.
I know I stole some of your light with my deceit.
Sorry will never correct my folly
So I’m forever in your debt.
I let you go and watched you get further,
Then did nothing about it.
Forever I will remember that.
I never would have hurt you had we been.
I hope “He” won’t either.
I will always dream of the day we meet again.
I just hope you see me for the good person I can be,
Not the pain I can cause.
Until that day, I will always….
